I would like to forward the following message to the list for Mr. Theophil

Hello, TM-family,
I am thankful for you and the possibility of world-wide quick exchange of
our needs, problems, anxieties, questions etc.
My friend is supplying me with your mail, and with great interest I read
your reports.
The activity of my nerves causes steady pain, but so far I did not take
any drugs, since they might interfere with the possible regeneration of
nerves. Your reports with the subject "healing" or "recovering" find my
special interest. Thanks!
The newsletters of the TMA are very helpful, and I want to thank and
encourage Jeanne Gilmour and Sandy Siegel for their excellent engagement
in this project.
A rich information contains "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ
http://www.cureparalysis.org/faq/index.html ).
Occasionally the Myelin Project is mentioned with the goal of
remyelinisation. The internationally working group of experts report that
their research has won in speed. Yet it is not ripe and ready for
acceptance of patients. It is depending on donations. Here I remember the
german proverb "Geld regiert die Welt!" ("money reigns the world!"). Since
our sickness is rather seldom, the research is of very limited interest
because of a low-grade economical profit-outlook.
Has anyone of your more informationa about the International Spinal Cord
Regeneration Center, working with live-cell-therapy (embryonic
cell-transplantation), located in Mexico, very close to the US-border?
If you are accepted for therapy - as I unterstand - you have to reckon
with costs of at least 70,000 to 80,000 US-dollars or more. Has anyone of
you heard of patients, who were cured there?
Beyond a mixture of thoughts, info-collection and questions I wish
everyone a truly blessed christmas (not neglecting the most important
reason: the Child of Bethlehem). I can recommend it as a source of comfort
and foundation of hope, as it is expressed in chapter 9 of Isaijah (verse
9).
With best wishes for all of you -
Theophil Rehse
