Hi all :-)
It looks like I to will be having a course of cytoxin on a monthly basis, and
I'm
curious as to what sort of effects and side effects it had for you that have
tried. Did you have much problem with nausea, hear loss, or any other
problems?
Thanks!

They used Fludara with me (doctor's choice). I received the same amount as a
cancer patient would. 5 day cycles every 28 days for six months.
Nausea for me was a problem, particularly since I was working through this and
around people in crowded conference rooms and courtrooms, etc. They
alleviated the nausea more or less by simply injecting an anti-nausea drug for
15 minutes with each treatment.
The only real downer was the "crash time" that followed every cycle (the
Sat.-Mon. following each cycle). It was sleep, sleep and more sleep. The
reason for this is that the chemo. drug had me up much of the night durign the
cycle (they give out sleeping pills for the cycle (Ambien)) plus the fact that
one of the drugs has some steroid.
That's about it. I had one small relapse since being on chemotherapy, but
nothing close to what I had before (its only been a few months since I
stoppped, though).
No hair loss.
Good luck.
