Sam,
I had a course of cytoxin on a monthly basis. I did lose quite a bit
of hair. For the first few months it was okay. Pretty much near the end, I
think it was about 6 months, I combed my hair and most of it came out
in the comb. Not ALL of it as in totally bald, but it was sparse enough
so that I wore a turban or a wig for a while. It grew back soon after the
treatment. In fact it grew back curly and with body which I never had before.
Now it's back to its original, limp state (sigh).

I don't remember nausea. They stood by with IV Benadryl in case it was
needed for nausea but it wasn't. They also gave me Lasex (sp?) at the end
of each
treatment to keep me urinating frequently for a while after which was a
nuisance.

At the time of the treatment I was 80% recovered (according to the
doctors), with foot tingling and poor balance, but could walk and am still
in that state. I have not had a recurrence since then. Of course I don't
know what would have happened without it but the doctor seemed to feel
strongly that I should have it so it's quite possible that it made the
difference.

It was about three years ago so my recollection may be somewhat clouded,
but it is that there were only minor discomforts, not terrible ones :).

Good luck.
Ellen
