Gunny,

If it would not be an invasion of your privacy could you tell me where your
spinal cord is damaged. Mine is at T-10, and I have ascertained that
different individuals have different symtoms based on the area in which TM
attacks their spinal cord.
I think the more we know and the more we enteract with other TM victims the
more we are able to accept this brutal challenger.
The lesion on my spinal cord is at T-10, as I mentioned earlier, but it also
runs across the dorsal and ventricle area of T-10. Although I have started
healing, the lesion is very very and again I say very slowly regenerating the
white matter. The healing process has changed the symtoms that have to be
addressed. For example just the other day (I needed to look good or maybe just
normal) I had to do a political roundtable. There I was dressed up in a suit
and my TM dress shoe. The reason I say shoe, was because the flesh on the
bottom of my left foot and half way up my left leg hurt so severally that I
could not wear the other shoe.( the pain felt like a stone bruise I used to
get when I would go bare foot at the ranch as a child.) I HAD to wear an
after sky boot from years past just to walk. How very attractive I must say I
looked. Vanity is one thing you lose when you get TM.
I know there has got to be recovery going because I could not even feel my
left foot 2 years ago. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this, or if the
magnets will work at this stage of recovery.
As I think many TM members of this list would say (from what I read) we would
try anything to make the pain go away. Trust me if they said eat horse poo poo
and you will get some relief, I would be down at the first stable open with a
shovel.
Kindest regards,
Beth
