Hi Sharon Knie
No, I don't think any of us think we get too personal.
We are all in this togother: it seems we have such an unusual commonness,
that we are in a way "family".
I don't have a son, but I do have a twentysix year old daughter who is not in
my
life at the time.
Just in case there are others out there who need to hear this, I am a gay male
age 46 and I have been in a relationship for twentysix years.
He is very loving and supportive and I am so lucky to have him in my life.
I don't know why this has happened to any of us, but I think it is important
for
us to share because we need eachother regardless of differences.
I too Sharon love trees, so much infact that I am a supporter of the "Tree
People"
here in California.
I have a huge, approx. 100 foot Shammel Ash tree in front of my house and it
is
admired by many who pass. I also have many trees in my backyard. Don't you
just love them!!!
I want to Thank ALL OF YOU for being there for me, because I, and I'm sure
many
others, feel so alone. We have a great need for others to understand.
Just yesterday, a friend asked me a question that I have answered many times
to
her before. It was about the freez-burn feeling I have. She does'nt comprehend
why I have a very hard time wearing normal clothing, I wear shorts with no
shirt most of the time with one sock on the the " normal" foot.
NOBODY understands because they never felt it, so how can they relate!!!
Of course, I mean people who don't have our medical problem.
Sorry for rambling.
I also want to give a very SPECIAL THANKS to Jim Lubin for making all these
communications possible.
I look forward to hearing from you guys ( Family ).
LOL,
Joel
