I had it brought to my attention a while back that a person didn't agree
with what I was writing. We went back and forth on the list, before I
decided to write to this person confidentially to explain my view, and gain
somewhat of a pen-pal. After I first mailed I got a response back wanting to
get past arguing, and talk about "normal" stuff. But, during the letter this
person still questioned my stand on this issue, so I sent another letter
further stating my opinion, and agreeing to quit quarreling, and talk about
other stuff. I didn't hear back for a while, so I sent another letter.
Nothing again, so I sent a letter with the subject of "On Vaction?" Still no
reply. I've came to the conclusion that all anybody wants is "glazed over",
positive, don't hurt anybody's fragile feelings responses, since most seem
to be self-proclaimed TM experts.
