I also am a causual reader of the list - only writing occasionally. I was
particullary interested in your posting. I have a total of three lesions,
C2-3, and two in the brain. Upon the initial discovery of my lesions in the
brain an MS diagnosis was discussed. I have had a couple more MRI's and they
are still there, along with all the medical terms that accompany them, much
like yours. But, the fact is I do not think they are causing me any
symptoms. So when you ask what all the terms mean for you, my answer is how
do you feel. If you feel fine - go with it! Doctors will apply their terms
where necc. that is their job and I am thankful for that, but in the end only
we know how we truely feel. I know this is probably not the response you
were looking for, but I too was once like you...Wondering what in the world
are T2 weighted images, ogliconal bands, Lhermitte's syndrome and Botox
injections were. Now I knoand that is a relief, but remember it really is
not what they tell you it is, it is how your body is responding. I hope
yours is doing well! Best wishes.
