Very well put, Beth. I have been wondering if my "sensations" could be
described as "itching" or something else. If I press my hands on the areas
of my leg where these sensations occur, it alleviates them somewhat. And if
I think about it, I could probably get the urge to "scratch" to make it
better. But as a child, I was constantly yelled at if I were to scratch a
mosquito bite, or any area that itched, because my mother would tell me I
would get "big ugly sores". So my sub-conscience will not allow me to
scratch.
But I have noticed that when the sensations get worse, or I am having a
"really bad day", it is followed by some improvement or I gain a little more
strength in some portion of my leg. I just keep reminding myself on those
days that "it must mean I am getting better." (they also get worse if I
forget a dose of Baclofen)
