Your symtoms and the reactionary process via the medical staff surrounding my
initial hospital admittance were very similar. As a matter of fact I am
experiancing the inching senstion in several areas, one near the area of T-10
and desending areas of such. This sensation is almost always followed by
some form of renewed tone or feeling in various areas. I actually almost
feel as if I could jump off of the highest bridge because there is no way for
me to stop this strange new sensation. Yet my doctor tells me that as with
every process of healling there is a stage of iching (just like when you get
a nasty scrape near the end of the recovery of this scrape it begans to
heal.)
I have also found that we have about "14" line in true controled medical
information re: TM to inform both us and the medical community. Yes there
are neurologist makeing advances more quickly, but we are somewhat guinea
pigs for the new frontier of spinal cord disorders and rare diseases.
If I put my TENS unit on the given area it is helpful, I set the unit on
cycle pulse or burst, this seems to cause the "jumping off of the bridge less
likely" if I can maintain some form of routine in my life for those " the bad
good and the ugly" days. I am actually writing this because I had to get up
and change the lovely uncontrolable bowel functions, so don't feel alone in
you feelings or syntoms.
Funny story , I actually had someone ask me what was the most difficult
asspect of TM I actually told them it was my campaign to get Victorias
Sectret to carry pretty disposable under garment in the adult diaper form. I
could not believe I had let this phase come out of my mouth, much less even
be a thought I would have remotely had 2 years ago. Never be afraid to ask
this group about the symtoms you are having, because if you want the real
story as opposed the the medical jargon, there is always some one who can
relate.
Kindest regards,
Beth
