Hi Joel,
I suffered with the same girdle pain you described. I now have a
baclofen pump and so far it has almost completely gotten rid those
spasms. I learned before I had the pump implanted that it would work
best on my leg spasticity. But when I was tested in the hospital to see
if the pump was for me I was thrilled when the inthraecal baclofen also
worked on my girdle spasms. My surgery was Aug. 4th of this year and
the pump continues to do a wonderful job. I was at my wits end from the
pain. The pump so far has given me my life back. And no I don't work
for Medtronic (the manufacturer of the pump)
All the best,
Steve
