Jan, again. Hey, isn't it hard to explain how
your legs are cold on the outside and burning
at the bone? or is that how your frozen burn
affects you? I, too, have this pain in my legs
constantly and assume I will always have it.
I don't allow myself to take more the ex strength
Tylenol for I'm not sure that I won't need some-
thing stronger on down the road. I'm allergic
to so many medications I have to be careful what
is prescribed, etc.
As I remember the SS rulings, you have to prove
that you can't stand or sit to work a two hour period.
I guess I was "lucky" to qualify prior to TM as Medi-
care kicked in for me the first of March '96 and I was
hospitalized in April. My pre-existing condition is that
without steroids I lose the skin from the bottom of my
feet +/- every 6 weeks and sometimes my hands are
also involved My feet were wonderful(except for swelling)
while I was on IV Medrol and then descending Prednisone
dosage for next 6 weeks. It took quite awhile for me to
get a ruling for SS Disability so I know what you are up
against. It seems to me that TM should qualify for all but
I guess that goes back to each individual case.
Hope today is a good one for you, Jan.
