Sharon - First of all, you are not being an alarmist. Call your doctor
if you are worried. It's what they are there for. It took me awhile to
accept that. I too get worsening of symptoms when I am really tired.
The point is that you have to pace yourself. I am lucky that I have a
boss who has a spinal column injury, and really understands that fact
that pushing to exhaustion is counter-productive. In fact, I have
decreased my official hours to 32 hours a week. Thats the least I can
work and still get full benefits. Since I am a salaried employee, this
really translates to something more like 40 hours, but I do not go into
the office on Weds. It makes a world of difference in my energy level.
I sleep in, and then go do the grocery shopping and other errands while
the stores are not crowded. If your job, company and boss can support
it, I fully recommend cutting back your hours. By the way, I seem to
get more done this way, then when I was working a "40" hour week....Ann
