I've experienced some back-and-forth improvement (two steps forward. one
back), it seems. Motor improvement has improved steadily, but numbness,
spasms, and pain are better sometimes and worse other times. Actually, spasms
and pain are worse now than at onset, but not all the time. This is one of
the many things I don't understand about TM. The best theory I've heard is
that, as healing takes place, the nerves sometimes try to re-route and get
messages mixed up. Leo Freyer had a very good explanation of this a few
months back. I don't remember what the subject heading was, but you might try
checking the archives by author.
