thanks to all
who have given me a hey you sence i have said i need to talk to
some one about this tm. each time i roll in the house i run to my pc to
see who has given me a hey-you, some just to say hello and some to
explain a little whats has taken place in there life, sence this black
plague has came up on us. thanks so so much, for the in put.
if any one can help me understand better with what happened with me
i sure would take a liken to it. this is my story.
in 1990 on feb. 25 a sister from church call and said a fellow
friend was going to kill his self, so she wonted me to go help, so i got
out of bed at about 2am and went and got him and talked him into coming
home and lifting some weights and looking into the good book to help him
sort things in his head, but on the way home i stoped for gas and while
i was paying for it a rober came up and stabed me in the back between t7
and t8 which caused me to loose the use of my right leg. but though a
lot of hard work and a lot of sweet i got everthing back, but it left me
with so so much pain, and on top of that the spasms were so bad, i got
worse and worse. so one day my dr said let me put a pacemaker in your
back to mix the message, so i said any thang. so he did it and boy did
it work good, i was out running with my boys but only a few mounts and
then thay said scar tissue had grown and it quit working, so the pain
got even worse and the spasms did to. so the dr. said lets try
bacqafun.(please look over the spelling) which i had reaction to already
so we did and even tryed to be desenatized to it, it just did not work.
so he said let me try moraphen so he gave me a shot of the stuff in the
spine and it did stop the spasms for a little while. then he put a pump
in an had a continus flow going to my spine which sure did stop the pain
and the spasms, i got to where i had to use nothing at all to help me
walk, i put cain and all down, i could walk just about normal. yes it
workd good but i did have side effects from the morphen though, like
when the pump would get low i would have withdraw systems, could not
make water or pee, thats just a few, but one day i had a dizzy spell and
then the next i had another, got worse and worse, i went to 3 diff dr.
they all said could not find anything, it got so bad that i had to just
lay down about all the time, then one day i got up just to fall down
having a heart atack the morphen maid my bp fall to 90 over 40 maybe
even lower and my heart had a spasm. so they keep me i i.c.u. for 3 days
then flue me out for a heart cath down in lex. ky so all went well they
said, also they thought i had got hold of some bad morephen so they put
new in at the same time of the cath, but the next morning i woke up i
could not stop vomiting i was sick and my right leg was numb fron the
knee down. tryed to tell the dr. that something new was wrong but he
only would say it's the sideeffect of the new morephen so he checked me
out to send me home at the time the tm had started on me, so i went just
across the road from the hosp. and got a room i knew somethin bad was
wrong so we tryed 3 diff times to see the dr that day only to be turned
down. so as the day went by so did my numbness get worse then it went
from the right leg to the left, starting from the foot and came up to
the point of the wast by the next morning, then i went and check into
the em. room where they started all the test. to find out i had tm. so
its been 2 years in sept. and i have had no return of felling or
movement in eather leg. but now i have no spasms, and i never have no
pain, except when i set up all day it's like my butt burns, how can it
when i cant fell. it's like my body from my belt down is in warm water
with just a little elec. but i could cut them off with a chain saw and
never fell it, why is it that way, do we all fell that way. i have no
blader controll except to self cath and bowel is about the same. my feet
say swollen but nothin hurts i am off all medc. except one the keep
infection down from cathing. if any one could help me understand cathing
better i sure would like it, like i say thanks so so much for the warm
welcome you-all have given, thanks the hill-billy with tm.
