I had my flu shot yesterday. I did feel some additional pain last night
and this morning. But it has been extremly cold here last night and
today which may have caused most of my pain. I really felt that I
needed the flu shot because of my TM being at T2 the keeping me cleaned
up alone would be a real hardship on my provider and my family not to
speak of just my being sick and feeling so bad. I had the flu shot last
year also and all went well.

My TM did not come from any shots at all. I'm allergic to tetnase and
had never had a flu shot before. My MRIs, C-scans, x-rays or spinal
taps showed no abnormalities at all. My paralise was asending from toes
to right about armpit area. I did have back surgery and many other
things after the TM dx. (back surgery before TM). I feel there as many
reasons or causes for TM as there are numbers of people who recover and
those that don't. From what I have learned from this group is that
there are no set rules for any of it, in some ways we are simular and in
many ways we are all different. The main thing we can all do is comfort
each other when it's needed and to share what is going on in our lives.
At first I was hurt because I haven't recoved anything and felt it
wasn't fair to me then I learned there were more like me some who were
even worst off than me. I can use my hands. So, God bless us all and
help us thru all are daily trials.
