I have been told by my neuro that it can take up to 18 months for the
original inflammation to consolidate i.e. heal. Has anyone else heard of
this? I have had TM since Jan. 97. I've come a long way since my
attack. From not walking to walking with a cane. I lost motor in my
right leg and sensation in my left leg. Now there is some loss of
sensation in my left side. It's a slight loss. Nevertheless it still
concerns me. My doctor explained this is part of the healing process
and the on going infection. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
