I was under a neurologist's care for several months after diagnosis and can
still call him with questions or see him if I need to. I was also under the
care of a physical therapist for three months. Both were very valuable and
helpful to me. I think most TM patients see one or both of those types of
drs. for awhile. You might start with your regular doctor -- depending on
your insurance, you may have to go through him or her anyway to get a
referral to a neurologist. Have you had any tests run? MRI, CAT scan, lumbar
puncture -- those are just a few they run to rule out MS or other things,
usually before making a TM diagnosis. Also see the TMIC web page for more
info. and links to other helpful
