The usual symptoms I have that indicate I have UTI, is a slight burning
sensation, frequent need to urinate with only a low volume (200 to 300 cc),
and lower abdominal sensation like pain or discomfort after urination. Also,
if you will look at a clear container with your urin in it, you can sometimes
see small(I mean minute) white "floaters" in it that are probably dead white
blood cells indicative of an infection in the bladder. Other than that, I
get frequent check-ups at the Dr.'s every two or three months just in case
since I do encounter UTI about three or four times a year. I prefer to catch
it in its early stages when it's easier to treat. Most Dr.'s can do this
test in their office by centrafuging a small test tube of urin and looking at
it under a microscope.
