The Sonoran Desert IS a different planet that where you live!! It is
horrible in the summer, but our winters make up for it. I visited Northern
New York in 1990 for 6 weeks during August and September. My daughter's
husband was stationed at Fort Drum and we stayed on post. I fell in love
with the whole area. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever
been. My son-in-law is from Buffalo area originally and enjoyed showing me
around while I was there.
