Patti - It sounds like your Mom is no longer your care giver - thats
great. If you can, you probably need to avoid her as much as possible -
she definitely is adding to your stress. When you hear all her negative
garbage - just remember the source. She has her own agenda and problems
with what is happening, but its not helping you. I haven't had this
problem with immediate family members, but have had some friends tell me
that I just need to think positive thoughts, or pray more, or rise above
whats happening. I have resolved never to do that to anyone who is
seriously ill. My thoughts are with you. Ann
