Dear Sharon:

Wheen I was scheduled for a IVP to check my kidneys, I, too, could not be
still enough for the yrays. I found that if someone would hold my feet
gently and rub them, I would not "twitch-spasm-or jerk". Every one is
differeent---you might try taking some baclofin for your spasm about thirty
minutes before the MRI, if that gives you any releif, and be ssure to get a
good night's rest the night before. Also, you might try to see if someone
can give you a full workout of range of motion of your joints and muscles
before doing the MRI to help them relax.

Good luck on the results,

Bob
