I have a friend who works at Childrens Hospital in Boston who does
periodic searches for me. Sometimes reading this stuff can be scary!
But, my friend now understands when I tell her I am not "up to" what ever
we had planned for the week-end.
On another tangent, as I mentioned to you guys before, I'm taking Zoloft
for depression. When I saw my GP, it was a toss up between pain killers
and an antidepressent. I told her that I have been dealing pretty well
with the pain but felt that my mood swings and inability to concentrate
were very abnormal for me. So, we went with the antidepr. It's been
about 3 1/2 wks now, on the medication and I see a big difference. As I
mentioned, I did get a promotion and was concerned about handling the
situation. So far, so good! I'm back to doing 10 things at once and
maybe getting 3 done that day! Before, I was having trouble making one
decision a day! So, my feeling is this. When you really get down, you
certainly can talk to any of us. But, when life starts to get
unmanagable, please do something about it. There is good help out there
but you are responsible for finding it and doing something positive. I
haven't reached Nervana yet, but I sure find every sunrise amazing!
Chins up!
