To Barb and All,
Lhermett's Sign (and I hope I'm spelling it correctly) is an electrical
sensation which is felt shooting down the spine and out into the extremities
and trunk when the head and neck are bent forward as if looking down at the
knees. It is a very uncomfortable feeling and often causes a lightheaded
sensation when raising the head back to its normal position.
Several conditions can cause it, but the most common is Multiple Sclerosis.
