Anybody with TM is protected under the Americans With Disabilities Act. The
act is broad and protects anyone who is not so totally disabled that they
can still work, albeit with reasonable accomodations. There are also
similar state laws that kick in for employers not covered by ADA. I have
the same level of impairment as you. Dont let you boss intimidate you. Ask
for a private meeting with your boss and explain you want to keep working
and you can do your job. If you have special needs, explain them to him.
Do a memo to yourself for future reference and if you get discharged or
subjected to some other job action, get to an employment atty pronto.
