tm, what else?

I'm with Maureen in that I'd like to see a little more discussion going on,
I had the pleasure (?) of having my first lumbar puncture done yesterday.
Actually, the procedure was painless for me although I did have a nasty
headache this morning. Kind of like a hangover but no party last night! I
wrote a couple weeks ago that I was diagnosed with TM this summer after a
gradually numbing of my right leg had continued from March to July.
However, in the last month I have had loss of sensation on the left side of
my head and has gone down to the fingertips on my left hand. I have not
lost any real functioning in those areas but they feel weird and have had
weird electric sensations in my left jaw. My neurologist decided that more
tests were in order to find out what is going on. Possible that I may end
up with a MS diagnosis, Am also scheduled for evoked potential tests, optic
and auditory next week and he would also like to do another MRI of my head I
believe to compare to the one done early this summer. Will keep you all
posted, have been incredibly tired this week after being very busy and
ambitious last week. Does anyone else notice a big difference in energy
