Worldwide Devic’s / Neuromyelitis Optica Support Group

The Worldwide Devic’s / Neuromyelitis Optica Support Goup has been working on a Constitution with the help of Lew Gray from the TMA here in the UK in order to establish our charity status.  We have also begun to post the latest information by the leading specialists on NMO in the UK, Dr. Jacob and Dr. Boggild, on our website: www.devic.org.uk.

We are continuing to collect information with the Worldwide Devic’s Survey.  One purpose of this project is to promote and encourage research on NMO.  We have thus far collected information from 150 people with NMO.  We are ensuring the anonymity of respondents and the information is being kept confidential.  The survey has been translated into German and we are looking for help to translate the survey into other languages.  If you can help with this project, please contact Gayle via the website.

The Worldwide Devic’s Support Group provides information and support to people who have NMO and their family and caregivers.  We are working closely with the TMA to ensure that people have access to the information and support they need to manage their disorder and to achieve the highest quality of life.
