2006 Rare Neuroimmunologic Disorders Symposium on DVD
The 2006 Rare Neuroimmunologic Disorders Symposium was held in Baltimore from July 19th to July 23rd. Both the clinical and science programs were excellent. The leading scientists and clinicians in the neuroimmunologic field attended from around the world. A summary of the presentations from the science program may be found on our web site under the link ‘symposia and workshops.’ The clinical program was comprehensive and thorough in its treatment of the neuroimmunologic disorders. Presentations covered everything from descriptions of each of the disorders, to acute therapies, to the most up-to-date management strategies for each of the symptoms of these disorders to rehabilitation strategies to restorative therapies.
You can become the most effective advocate for your medical care by educating yourself about your condition. Attending the symposium in Baltimore is one of the best ways to receive this education. We know that travel logistics and the cost make it difficult for everyone to attend. The TMA is committed to making this critical information available to everyone. You can access the presentations as streaming video from our web site under the link ‘symposia and workshops.’ Look for the 2006 symposium. We also highly recommend viewing the presentations from the 2004 and 2001 symposia and the pediatric presentations from the children’s workshop in 2002.
You can also order the 2006 symposium presentations as DVDs. You can buy the DVDs individually for $8 or you can purchase the entire clinical symposium for $80. The shipping and handling charges are an additional $6. Chris and Michelle Powell from Tullyvision are kind enough to handle these orders for us, and have worked hard to reduce the cost of the DVDs. The TMA does not make any profit on these sales; our goal is to get this information to as many people as possible.
You will find the order form included in this newsletter. You can also find the order form posted on our web site under the ‘symposia and workshops’ link. You can fax, email or mail the order form to Tullyvision using the contact information provided on the form. Payment information is also described on the order form. We are grateful to Chris and Michelle for making this information available to our membership. Thank you! |
