The Cure Task Force: We need your help!

We are establishing a task force for the purpose of raising money to fund the Accelerated Cure Project; the repository, registry and medical centers, as well as the research and clinical trials which will be conducted by the medical centers in the consortium.  As you have likely read in previous newsletters and the journal, the ACP study is focused on finding the causes and cures for ADEM, NMO, ON, MS, and TM.

We have had some really excellent people come forward to do this important work.  We need for more people to get involved.   We need for you to get involved! 

If you have experience in a not-for-profit organization, please consider getting involved in this effort.  If you have experience in fundraising activities or event organizing, please consider volunteering to work on our task force.  If you have served in a development position for a not-for-profit, we need for you to serve with us.  If you are one of the support group leaders in the United States, we need for you to be involved.  Please contact me or Sandy to volunteer:

Collectively, we can make a difference for ourselves and for each other.  What can you do?  You can donate your time and volunteer to work on the task force; you can make a donation to the TMA to fund the ACP project; and you can talk to your family and friends and ask them to make a donation to the TMA.  We need you to make this happen, and it will not happen without you! 

In addition to funding the ACP study, the TMA will continue to fund TM research, such as the work that is being done by the Johns Hopkins TM Center and Project RESTORE.  Your support will help us to fund all of this work and will also help us to motivate other researchers and medical centers to enter our important area of study! 

Please call us and volunteer to serve on the task force; you can play a critical role in finding the causes and cures for TM, ADEM, NMO, MS and ON.
