Benjamin M. Greenberg, MD, MHS to Serve on TMA Medical Advisory Board

The officers and board of The Transverse Myelitis Association are pleased and proud to announce that Dr. Benjamin Greenberg will serve on our Medical Advisory Board.  Dr. Greenberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  Dr. Greenberg recently accepted the position of Co-Director of the Johns Hopkins Transverse Myelitis Center. 

Dr. Greenberg did his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and became Chief Resident in 2004.  He has worked with Dr. Kerr and the other physicians and scientists at the Johns Hopkins TM Center and developed an interest and focus on TM and the other neuroimmunologic disorders.  Dr. Greenberg is also a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. 

Dr. Greenberg serves on the Accelerated Cure Project, Scientific Advisory Board.  Johns Hopkins has assumed the lead role in the development of the ACP registry and repository and Dr. Greenberg is the lead researcher on the project.   

Dr. Greenberg’s research focus on Transverse Myelitis and the other neuroimmunologic disorders and his specialization in caring for patients with these disorders has and will continue to create a tremendous benefit to our community.  We are grateful for Dr. Greenberg’s interest in the neuroimmunologic disorders and we are most appreciative of his willingness to serve on the Medical Advisory Board.  He is an excellent addition to a group of exceptional medical professionals and wonderful human beings.
