Telford TM Support Group

Dear Friends
Meeting was started with Kelvin welcoming everybody
We then carried on by fist speaking about the change that is
occurring with Jan and Eve resigning.  Anna and Kelvin had offered to
give it a  try to carry on Jan and Eves good work  and was given the confident
 by the rest of the Group

Anna then went on to make the apologies from Jan, Eve, Janet and Kate

Kelvin proceeds by telling us about the state of account. Due to the lack of access at the moment since taking over the account from Jan and Eve Kelvin and Anna have not been able to access it. But we are doing fine as a small group.

Updates

Read out a email from Janet Ashden about her vitamin road. She is taking several vitamins and is feeling much better Less fatigue and much more energy. Is anyone like to know more about what she has been recommended she said feel free to contact her?

Colin has decided not to attend any more meetings Due to him not felling to well and also since he now is diagnosed with MS. We wish Colin all the best and hope he and Glenys come in to see us when ever the like to .

Mike have been in hospital for 6 days and was given llignocaine straight in to his spine. He did not feel it made much off a difference to his pain But are considering going back after 6 months to have another dose.

Sandy had brought and article about someone she knows whom has MS and she has had private treatment with Goat serum and is feeling much better. Very interesting article.

Betty showed us a  magnetic bracelet she had from a company called Ecoflow. Betty said she has not much pain anymore and never takes it off. If anyone was interested .We can get information and maybe by in bulk. Please let Anna or Kelvin know if there is interest.

Meetings
We then discussed meetings and decided to carry on with meetings every quarter. Also discussed odd meetings for sat/sun or evening meetings. But for now we are sticking to the same as before.

After the tea break Anna handed out a questionnaire. This is to get a booklet for the GP,s , hospitals and Physio departments. There is not enough information in GP surgeries and hospital for doctors to gain access to or for patients to see when they have been diagnosed .Hopefully this booklet will help someone. Please return to Anna (post or email) or just bring along to next meeting

We also showed the logo we made for the Telford TM support group and was given a good response to that.

Talked about arranging to the Pain nurse to come and someone from the benefit office to come out to speak to us, about the different benefits available to us.

The raffle made £22.80.for funds and we thank you all for your generosity. Also thank Paul’s and Helens daughter whom helped Margaret with Tea and Coffee and also pulled all the winning tickets for us.
Next meeting has been scheduled for the 1st of Feb 2007 at 14pm
A Christmas lunch was to be arranged for the 14th of December at the Horseshoes Inn, in Telford but due to financial situation we are unable to arrange the function at this time but will re-arrange at a date
to be fixed. This is because we are not able to get to the account. The bank is making it a bit difficult.
