Members and friends of the Ohio TMA gathered in Powell, Ohio on December 13, 2002 to help prepare The Transverse Myelitis Association's annual membership directory and Volume 5, Issue 1 of the newsletter for mailing. Our focus that day was to complete the packaging and organization for addresses only in the United States. This included stuffing, sealing and maintaining the whereabouts of 6,000 large envelopes. Well more than a dozen volunteers completed the project and relocated everything back to Sandy Siegel's garage in just over 8 hours of time. The Postal Service spent Sunday afternoon picking it up and getting it processed to begin the delivery phase on Monday.
