Our meeting was a very good one. In attendance were only Dorothy Danielson and myself, Joyce Boothe. We began with catching up on each others life, and then by going through our many pictures from all the meetings we have had, to begin a scrapbook. We plan to chart every meeting and a brief summary of each one. Also, we would like to remember any from Mississippi that die that have TM, but die from other causes. This way they are remembered forever with our group. This will one day show where we came from to how far we have advanced.

We decided that I would make some bookmarkers, and we would sell them to raise money to start a fund for our support group, as all expenses are coming from our pockets. With both of us selling them, we should easily raise what we need for expenses for our group. If this does well, then maybe we can look at other options.

This meeting was very informal. We dressed very casual, drank coffee and ate donuts during the meeting. It really was fun. I just wished more of you would come and have fun with us!

Our ink cartridge drive has improved some. We have been able to get several other companies to consider recycling for the TMA. I got the flyers to distribute, that go above the ink cartridge boxes, and they make a big difference. It helps to attract attention to the box where the cartridges are being collected. We will be talking with other companies, because very few of the companies recycle in this area.

Our next meeting is November 8, 2003 at 1:30 pm at Methodist Rehab Center, 3rd Floor, Multi-Purpose Room, 1350 Woodrow Wilson, Jackson, MS, just off
I-55. Whether you coming from the North or South, it will be on the left side of the street, before State Street.
