Mississippi Monthly Support Group Meeting

Once again our turnout was only Dorothy and I, but we will not be swayed. We decided to start making plans for the future, for the group when it grows. We are very optimistic that it will grow.

We decided to mail out personal invitations to those whose E-mail addresses were no longer valid. In the invitation, we included all the information for the next meeting as well as our website address, just in case they had a new Internet company.

We decided to start a scrapbook, beginning with our first meeting, and chart our group. We, also, want to pay respect to those we lost, whether we knew them or not. I love taking pictures, so I have always managed to take at least one or two at every meeting.

We have come up with a few ideas to raise money to get our group going, but we want to get more people involved in our group. We are getting the word out more about TM to people, and now plan to pass out the phamplets for donations for the TMA, so more people have the opportunity to become involved in sending in donations.

It is rare that I am photographed in a wheelchair, but I have to use a wheelchair for any distance. I usually stand in pictures holding on to something, but I wanted to share the real Dorothy and Me with all of you. Because of this support group, we get together once a month, and are building a true bond. I hope others will choose to join us.
