Maryland/ DC Support Group meeting summary February 12, 2005

The meeting on February 12, 2005 was exceptional. Fourteen people attended. Manekin LLC, is the employer of one of our members, and they graciously allow us to use their conference room. Our speakers for the meeting were Michelle Loritz, and Amy Ryan, Occupational Therapists from Good Samaritan Hospital Rehabilitation Services. They provided much useful and practical information on ways to make activities of daily living easier. They demonstrated some of the tools that they frequently use and recommend to help maintain independence. They also were a wealth of information on community resources available.
