Hello Southern California TMA members and potential new members:

We are planning a meeting on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the same place as our past regular meetings, the Dayle McIntosh Center in Garden Grove. At the March meeting we agreed that we wanted to discuss the Importance of Physical Therapy at our next meeting. I am working with St. Jude’s Hospital in Fullerton to have one or more of their physical therapists come and talk with us. This should be an interesting meeting. We will meet from 12:00 noon till 4:00 PM.

Please let me know if you will be attending our meeting. You can just email me () or give me a call at 714-638-5493. As we did last time, we will have a potluck for lunch. Please try and bring the same type of dish that you brought to the last meeting. If you are like me and can’t remember what you did that far back, just bring a dish for at least 15 people. We always seem to have way too much food so bringing smaller amounts should work.

I want to thank Bill Whitehead for the terrific job he did at out last meeting. He facilitated the meeting on “How We Handle Pain Associated with TM". Some folks said they learned more from that meeting than they had ever learned from their doctors. Thanks Bill!

The key is to get on the 22 FWY (Garden Grove FWY) and based if you are coming east or west on it follow the directions below. If you are coming from the 91 FWY drive to the 57 Fwy and go South. Orange County Area – various options:

Coming West on 22 Fwy

• Take the Haster St. exit
• Turn LEFT onto Haster ST
• Turn Left onto Garden Grove Blvd
• Try and get into second lane from right. Past Fairview turn into the second driveway on the right.
  

Coming East on 22 Fwy

• Take the Fairview Street exit
• Turn LEFT onto Fairview
• Turn RIGHT onto Garden Grove Blvd
• Turn RIGHT into second driveway on Right
  

Coming South on the 57 Fwy:

• Merge onto the 22 Fwy West towards LONG BEACH
• Take the Haster St. exit
• Turn LEFT onto Haster ST
• Turn Left onto Garden Grove Blvd
• Get into second lane from right. Past Fairview turn into the second driveway on the RIGHT.
  

Coming North on the 5 FWY

• Merge onto the 22 Fwy West towards Long Beach
• Take the Haster St. exit
• Turn LEFT onto Haster ST
• Turn Left onto Garden Grove Blvd
